1ST  ITENERARY

14 DAYS KENYA SAFARI AND BEACH HOLIDAY.

Day 1.ARRIVAL NAIROBI

Arrival Nairobi (JKIA) and overnight at hotel.

Day 2. NAIROBI – LAKE NAIVASHA

 Breakfast and make a tour of Giraffe center and shedrick Wildlife trust.  Lunch and drive to Naivasha for overnight at Fisherman Camp. 

Day 3. LAKE NAIVASHA

 Breakfast and make bicycle tour to Hells gate. Lunch, and make boat tour of Lake Naivasha, to see Hippos, plenty of Birds life and other animals. Dinner and overnight at Fisherman Camp.

Day 4. LAKE NAIVASHA – MT. LONGONOT

Early breakfast and drive to Mount Longonot. Make hiking tour to the Crater before descending. Return to your hotel for lunch and relaxation. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5. LAKE NAIVASHA – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Early breakfast and drive to Amboseli National Park at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch and relax with the Masai at WE4Kenya Guest house/Camp. Dinner and overnight. 

Day 6. AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast and with lunch box make full day tour of Amboseli National Park. The park has all the animals which includes, Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Cheetah, Buffalos, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Zebras and other plain antelopes.Lunch will be at the picnic site with opportunity of viewing Mount Kilimanjaro at close range. Dinner and overnight at WE4Kenya guest house.

Day 7. AMBOSELI 

  Breakfast and make Motorbike tour of the Maasai Village with stop at the village for traditional dance and other activities. Overnight at the Guest house.

Day 8. AMBOSELI– TAITA HILLS (SALTLICK LODGE)

 Early morning breakfast and check out of the guest house. Proceed with drive to Taita hills with a stop at Lake jipe to view the lake. Arrive Taita hills/Salt lick lodge for lunch. Afternoon animal viewing in the park to late evening. Overnight at saltlick lodge.

Day 9. TAITA HILLS – SAGALA HILLS

 Early morning animal viewing in the park before breakfast. Breakfast and check out of the lodge and drive to Sagala lodge arriving in time for lunch. After lunch relax and make Hiking trip of Sagala hills. After the hike return to your lodge for overnight stay.

Day 10. TSAVO EAST  NATIONAL PARK

 Early breakfast, and  with lunch boxes make full day tour of Tsavo East National park. The park has all types of animals including the Big Five. Return to Sagala lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11. SAGALA – DIANI BEACH

Breakfast and drive to Diani beach for beach holiday staying at a hotel or Cottage.

Day 12. DIANI BEACH

Diani beach with option of Glass bottomed boat tour of the ocean. Here we have plenty of undersea life including corals. 

Day 13. DIANI BEACH

Diani with an option of visiting Wasini Island for snorkeling and spotting of Dolphins. Overnight at beach hotel or Cottage.

Day 14. DIANI BEACH - NAIROBI

Breakfast and be transferred to Railway station or Airport for your travel to Nairobi to catch up with your flight home.

 

2ND  ITENERARY

PROPOSED ITINERARY

Cultural, educational, Safari and beach Holiday

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi 

Pick up from JKIA (Kenya’s main international airport) and transfer to hotel for dinner & overnight stay

Nairobi City Tour 

After breakfast, depart for a city tour that will include the Giraffe center & The Sheldrick Elephant trust, arriving during feeding time at 11:00 am, followed by lunch and a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum of the “Out of Africa “fame. Afterwards return to the hotel for some rest before heading out to an Ethiopian restaurant for a tantalizing dinner experience.

Day 3: Nairobi City Tour 

After a hearty breakfast, depart for a visit to the National Museum of Kenya. The museum presents Kenya’s History, Nature, Culture and Contemporary Art in its entire splendor, within the grounds are the famous Snake Park, Botanical Gardens and Nature Trail.

After lunch, visit the Bomas of Kenya and Experience the rich diversity of Kenyan traditional music and dance, their repertoire consists of over 50 dances from different ethnic communities. With live percussion, string and wind instruments, and diverse, authentic and energetic dancing.
Early dinner at the hotel in preparation for the next day’s safari.

Day 4: Amboseli 

After breakfast we head out into the real Africa. Amboseli National Park lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro at the border between Kenya & Tanzania, we will get to our safari camp in time for lunch after an enroute game drive. After a sumptuous lunch and lazing around the camp, we will embark on an exciting evening game drive, Amboseli is known for its huge number of Elephants among other wild animals, later we head back to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Amboseli 

We begin with an early morning game drive to spot the wild animals before they hide in the bush due to the scorching African sun, early morning game drives are also ideal for collecting news of the previous night’s activities. In the wild, news is collected from various animal prints and we can sometimes find  evidence of a night kill, we will return to camp at around 8am for a tantalizing breakfast spread, later in the morning, we will pay a courtesy call to the Kenya Wildlife Service center located inside the park for a firsthand experience and update on conservation efforts, this will be followed by an optional Maasai Village Visit to also experience firsthand this preserved culture and way of life. We will later return to camp for lunch and relaxation followed by yet another evening game drive before returning back to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park 

 

After breakfast, we will pack our bags and depart Amboseli with an en route game drive as we head for the Tsavo West National park arriving at our designated camp or safari lodge in time for lunch and relaxation before heading out for another evening game drive. Tsavo west National park is most famous due to The Mzima Springs gushing out of from beneath parched lava rocks and the Man eating lions that almost halted the Rail road construction in the late 1890s, featured in the movie “The Ghost and the Darkness”. Tsavo West is also home to the The Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary; this is where the growing population of highly endangered black rhino are inching back from extinction forced upon them by rampant poaching in the 1960s, we will visit this Sanctuary after lunch and learn about these conservation efforts before heading back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Tsavo West – Tsavo East National Park

After an early morning game drive, return to camp for breakfast and checkout.
 We will then drive to our final Safari destination, The Tsavo East National Park , which is the largest protected area in Kenya and home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust - red elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and its prolific bird life, featuring over 500 recorded species. Once inside the park, we will enjoy an enroute game drive before reaching our safari lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation followed by an early evening game drive before retiring for the night.

Day 8:  Tsavo East – Diani Beach

On our last day of safari, we wake up for an early morning game drive before heading back to camp for breakfast and checkout, finally heading out to the coast for a much needed break of rest and relaxation on Africa’s best beach. We will have our lunch along the way at Mombasa, Kenya’s second largest city, before arriving at Diani Beach in the early evening.

Day 9: Diani Beach 

A full day of rest and relaxation by the beach with plenty of optional watersport activities to choose from or simply soak up the sun on a beach bed.

 Day 10: Diani 

After breakfast, we will visit a public school and positively impact primary school children with mentorship exercises and art or sports activities, donate reading materials and sports gear and have lunch together before heading back to the hotel.

 Day 11: Diani 

After breakfast, we will again head back to the public school for more talks, perhaps launch a sustainable project, have lunch together and engage in a friendly sports game before heading back to the hotel.

Day 12: Dolphin Safari (Optional)

After early breakfast, those interested have the option to visit to the Kisite Marine Park 45 minutes away by road for a day of snorkeling and dolphin spotting accompanied by a tantalizing seafood lunch.
 On this evening we will have a farewell dinner at the magical Ali Barbour’s Cave Restaurant.

Day 13: Diani 

The last morning on the beach followed by lunch and an afternoon flight back to JKIA airport in Nairobi for flight back home.
